What is AMI Revolution?
AMI Revolution is an annual summer conference during which college students and working young adults from around the country gather to fellowship, worship, and pray together for their local churches as well as missionaries around the world.
Who can attend AMI Revolution?
AMI Revolution is open for anyone to attend. Everyone is welcome, from large groups to individual attendees. The focus will be on college and young adults within the Acts Ministries International network of churches. AMI Revolution is designed for people to encounter God, the church to be equipped, and the next generation of leaders to be empowered.
What churches are represented in AMI?
Are entering college freshmen welcome?
Yes! We highly encourage entering freshmen to come, whether they are going to attend an AMI church or not. We believe this will be a great opportunity to get connected to other college students and to prepare for college spiritually!
When does the event begin and end?
Registration and check-in will begin on Thursday, June 28 at 3:00PM @ 1019 for out of town guests and Symphony Church Office for Symphony members. The first session of the conference will take place 7:00PM at CGS. The conference will conclude after Sunday service on July 1st.
What does the registration fee cover?
The registration fee covers your admission, lodging for out of town guests, certain meals, and transportation to and from the airport if needed.
Do I have to register now, or can I do it at the door?
We encourage you to register as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly for your experience. Registration will close on Sunday, June 24.
Where will AMI Rev conference attendees stay?
Conference attendees from out of town will stay at 1019 Commonwealth Ave, a Boston University dormitory. Staff will have separate accommodations.
Is there parking available at the conference venue?
There are reserved spots for larger vans coming from the various churches. However, these slots must be reserved beforehand and passes will be passed out to the respective van drivers at check-in time. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need parking. For normal vehicles, there is street parking around the venue.
Where can I eat during the conference?
Breakfast will be provided Friday and Saturday. Lunch will be provided Saturday. Other meals will be left to the individual small groups to decide. Near the Boston University area are a lot of food options and more options are available a short walk away in the Allston area.
What should I bring?
- if you are staying at the BU dorms: a sleeping bag / linens (linens will not be provided) and toiletries
- the rest of your registration money if you have not paid in full yet
- a Bible
- a pen
- spending money - please bring money for the meals that will not be provided (see above).
